BREE WALKER





Bree is the Pilot and team captain of the Australian Bobsleigh Team (Bobteam Walker).


After a successful 400m/400mh career where she won many state and national medals, Bree transferred to Bobsleigh in 2016/17.


Over the past few seasons Bree has continued her growth and development in Bobsleigh becoming one of the fastest bobsleigh pilot pushers in the world and achieving multiple podium finishes; especially in the Monobob World Series circuit where she has now won 7 gold medals in this events.

STEFANIE FERNANDEZ-PREIKSA





Before transferring to Bobsleigh, Stef was a very accomplished athlete in the sports of Track Cycling and Weightlifting.


In Track Cycling, she is a 5x state team member at national champs., 12x state champion across NSW and QLD in the sprint disciplines, 2x national silver medallist, 2x Oceanian bronze medallist and 4 year NSWIS scholarship holder from 2013-16.


In Weightlifting, she has qualified for 2019 national championships in both 76 and 81 weight classes and is the state record holder for clean and jerk for 76kg category (100kg).


With this impressive sporting background, Stef was able to make an instant impact on the teams results, helping Australia to qualify to World Cup in 2019 and making her World Champs debut in 2020.


Stefanie certainly has the work ethic and talent to become one of the best brakemen Australia has ever seen.

SARAH BLIZZARD





Sarah comes from a successful Track and Field background. Competing as a VAL professional sprinter, Sarah successes includes being a 4x finalist in the Women’s Stawell Gift, winner of the 2014 Women’s Bendigo Gift and the 2017 Ballarat Open 70m and winner of the 2016 Eric Cumming Memorial Cup for best sprinter performance at the Stawell Gift (1st female to ever win this award).


Since transferring over to bobsleigh in 2019, Sarah has improved from strength to strength, helping the team to achieve multiple World Cup top 10 finishes and achieving a 7th overall World ranking in the 2020/21 season (best overall ranking Australia has ever achieved).


With many years still ahead of her, Sarah shows real promise in becoming a world class bobsleigh brakemen for Australia.
